Empower Nurses was set up around a small idea: most clinical leads do not need fifty CVs, they need three good ones. So we built around that.
Healthcare recruitment carries a different kind of weight to most other industries. A poor hire affects patients, residents and the colleagues left covering. We treat that seriously. The screen is longer, the shortlist is smaller, and the consultant is the same person from first call to first day.
That decision shapes day-to-day work. We run real clinical conversations with candidates, not just availability checks. We ask about why someone left their last role, what they need from the next one, and whether the unit you are describing actually matches the way they want to work.
Across the portfolio we focus on permanent recruitment. Locum and agency-shift cover is a different game with different metrics, and we are not the right fit for it.
You will not be passed between a sales person, an account manager and a delivery recruiter. The person you speak to first is the person you speak to on the day a nurse starts. Context stays in one place, and so does accountability.
Empower Nurses works across the UK, with stronger density in the North and the Midlands but searches running in every region. The agency has been built to operate remotely first, with on-site visits where they meaningfully help a search.
